On the occasion of its 72nd Anniversary in 2011, Loxley Public Company Limited and its business partners have jointly held various activities for society, communities and company staff, including “Loxley Fair and Family Day” to offer low-priced consumer goods to staff and communities, make merit and experience the pleasure of feeling good by doing good at Buddhadasa Indapanno Archives (BIA).

Recently, Loxley PCL together with BlueScope Group (Thailand), with over 20 years of business partnership, built a kindergarten media unit to inspire the love of reading and also built a mushroom plant for Wat Klong Toey School, under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

This project followed on from the earlier “Area Revival for Sustainable Community” project which began in 2010 and continues to the present as part of its objectives to promote cooperation with the people of Penang Market by looking after the community sustainably.

The opening ceremony was attended by executives of Loxley PCL, committees and executives of BlueScope Australia and BlueScope Thailand, joined by the director of Klong Toey district and the principal of Wat Klong Toey School.

The kindergarten media room was assembled using high-technology RANBUILD® readymade steel building components for the first time in Thailand, including ZINCALUME® steel which is a metallic coated steel sheets which has an alloy coating composed of 55% aluminium, 43.5% zinc and 1.5 silicon with enhanced anti-corrosion properties. Pre-painted steel or CLEAN COLORBOND® steel, incorporating a special coating technology that keeps buildings looking newer for longer, was also used. RANBUILD®’s knock-down system enabled quick construction of the building.
