Loxley and other private company had signed memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives by Department of Permanent Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Rice Department, Land Development Department, and Department of Agricultural Extension. These private companies are including Loxley, Topcon Corporation, and Shanghai Zuoanxiuhul Electronic Technology, who agree to develop a prototype plantation which involve agricultural technology into a plant. Purpose of MOU is looking for efficient way to growth 6 type of crop which are rice, sugar cane, cassava, animal corn, pineapple, and tomato.
Mr.Karn Thongyai First Executive Vice President of Loxley Public Company Limited and Mr. Anan Suwannarat Permanent Secretary of The Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives are representative of both organization who signed memorandum of understanding, which Mr.Alongkorn Ponlaboot Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives is witness. In this project, Loxley is going to contribute IoT sensors and aerial images from unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) into prototype plant. Data that collect from this plant will be useful for develop software of Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in the future.
